The Interreg V-A Romania – Bulgaria program celebrates the European Cooperation Day 2022 g

On the occasion of the Day of European Cooperation, The managing authority (Ministry of Development, public works and administration, Romania), The national partner body (Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works, Bulgaria), The Joint Secretariat (Regional Office for Cross-Border Cooperation Culleras for the border Romania – Bulgaria) for the Interreg V-A Romania-Bulgaria program in partnership with Balchik Municipality, organized a bike ride on Tuesday – 27 September 2022 G., under the title "Cycle Ride for Cooperation".

The action took place along the promenade in Balchik, modernized within the RoBg project 422 - "Synergy of nature and culture - the potential for development of the cross-border region", financed under the Interreg V-A Romania – Bulgaria program and implemented by the Municipality of Balchik, together with the Territorial Administrative Unit – Mangalia Municipality. The bicycles, used for the walk down the alley, were purchased under the MIS ETC cross-border project 890 – "Cycling along the Black Sea", financed under the Romania-Bulgaria cross-border cooperation program 2007-2013, implemented by Balchik Municipality, jointly Territorial Administrative Unit – Municipality of Constanta.
Through this action, the organizers wanted to highlight the role of cross-border cooperation, as well as meaning, which has to improve the living conditions in the border areas.
More than 250 participants enjoyed the sun, cycling, sea ​​breeze, friends, young people, raffles and other surprises, celebrating cross-border cooperation and the European Year of Youth 2022.
